Yes, skull shoes. The Bride wore skull shoes, the most beautiful lace choker, and of course, a skull couple on the cake to add spunk and personality to an otherwise fairly traditional wedding. But that’s the best part about your wedding – it is YOUR wedding! It’s so easy to throw in little touches of who you are and your personality. It doesn’t require anything dramatic or over-the-top; it doesn’t require spending an outrageous amount of money. It just requires you.

This midday wedding was beautiful and so very sentimental as the venue is the Bride’s family home and property. Surrounded by just a few of their closest friends and family – and farm animals – the couple said their vows under a trellis overlooking the pond, then everyone made their way over to the enclosed tent that fortunately had fans (it was quite the warm and humid day!). Definitely one thing to remember to think about when planning an outdoor wedding during the summer.

Observations and information gained while looking at these photographs:

  • you’re never too old for Grandpa to tweek your nose
  • farm animals should always be included in photographs
  • the get-a-way car was actually in the movie Godfather 2!
